Who We Are

Right across the street from the Lyric Theatre, where our Restoration Church community gathers for worship on Sundays, you’ll find the Polk-Dalton Clinic, which specifically serves mothers and children impacted by addiction.

The PATHways program at the Polk-Dalton Clinic integrates evidence-based knowledge through a comprehensive approach to treating substance abuse, offering treatment for substance use disorders, treatment and care for babies who are born withdrawing from substances, peer support and education, legal support, prenatal and postnatal health services for mother and baby, and health system navigation during delivery. This program supports mothers and babies in every way to help them overcome addiction and live healthy and restored lives.

How To Help

That’s where Pampering PATHways comes in. Several years ago, Restoration leaders reached out to the clinic about how we might serve, and God opened a big door! Pampering PATHways involves two main components.

Take Care Totes

We deliver approximately 100 Take Care Totes per year to the PATHways clinic for the nurses and doctors to distribute to each new patient who establishes care with them. This is a no-strings-attached gift intended to bless a new mom. She receives a diaper bag, a few baby essentials, and most importantly, a handwritten note from another woman in our community, encouraging her in her recovery journey and next steps of parenthood. Throughout the year, we organize events to put together these totes and write encouraging notes to the recipients. Contact us if your church, organization, small group, team, or family would like to host a bag-packing party.

Baby Showers

In addition to delivering totes to the clinic, we also throw a baby shower for current PATHways patients every six months. We serve lunch, distribute gift bags, give away raffle prizes, offer a fun craft, play a lighthearted shower game, and set up a photo booth. Most importantly, we spend time getting to know those who attend. We need volunteers for these events to help set up, fellowship, and clean up.  We can also use donations in the form of shower gifts from our Amazon Wish List, raffle items, food/catering, desserts/cake, flower arrangements, etc. If you’d like to volunteer your time or services for our next baby shower in spring 2026, please email us!
